TransAqua to Hold Annual General Meeting on March 27, 2026

 

RIVERVIEW, N.B. – TransAqua, the Greater Moncton Wastewater Commission, will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, March 27, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the TransAqua Administration Building located at 355 Hillsborough Road in Riverview.

 

The meeting will provide an overview of the Commission’s activities and accomplishments in 2025, as well as an update on priorities and initiatives planned for 2026 and beyond.

 

Residents of Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview are invited to attend, along with environmental organizations, suppliers, and other interested stakeholders and members of the public.

 

“We are pleased to invite residents of the tri-community area and our partners to learn more about our work over the past year and the priorities that will guide us in the year ahead,” said Nicolas Cormier, Chair of the TransAqua Commission.

 

The AGM will include presentations from Commission representatives, an overview of operational highlights, and the release of TransAqua’s 2025 financial results. Members of the public and media will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

TransAqua / Greater Moncton Wastewater Commission (www.transaqua.ca) was established in 1983 to support the wastewater collection and treatment needs of Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview. The Commission operates a 38.2-kilometre wastewater collection network and a regional treatment facility serving the tri-community area.

 

TransAqua is also recognized as a leader in the beneficial reuse of biosolids through the production of Category A compost, the highest quality compost classification currently achieved in Canada, turning wastewater byproducts into a valuable resource rather than sending them to landfill.
