Fraudulent Phone Calls using TransAqua's Business Name
RIVERVIEW, N.-B. - TransAqua, the Greater Moncton Wastewater Commission, announced today that in recent weeks, TransAqua staff have been receiving calls from people upset that somebody called them from TransAqua. This person is telling citizens that they have violated CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) and a warrant has been issued for their arrest. These incidents have been reported to the RCMP and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. If you receive such a call, please be aware that nobody from TransAqua is making these calls.
